We reached my desired photo point first! Then it was off like we were in a speed walking competition! If you’ve ever been on one of my group trips, you know “the game plan” usually involves some previous travel knowledge secrets and a bit of loop holes □Īlthough others attempting to sneak their way ahead of us (by paying off guides) they failed bc they couldn’t pass security as fast as us thanks to my secrets. While we waited, myself and our amazing guide Pia helped re-tie sarees, and continue to go over the game plan. We were first in line and stood there for almost two hours eagerly waiting for the gates to open at sunrise. We (and by we I mean “I”) interrupt our regular scheduled content for a Live report that Sakura (Cherry Blossom) season is starting EARLY in TOKYO this year (and likely due to global warming) □□□ I sacrificed lots of awkward moments trying to film myself holding a phone up backwards, so you better show me some awesomely edited travel photos!! Snapseed was actually recommended to me by a real photographer, and I’ve had lots of fun tweaking the settings and filters to create my own hybrid of semi-professional, semi-looks-like-a-fairytale type photos. Since a lot of people ask how I edit my travel photos, I decided to finally make a quick tutorial showing the typical process I do using a free phone app called Snapseed ( no this post isn’t sponsored by them, yes I think it should be) . Oh, and by “properly”, I mean “easily adjust a few things on a basic photo editing app”, so don’t worry if you have absolutely no idea where to even start with editing. Unfortunately most of the cool stuff you see with your eyes, doesn’t always get captured by your camera, UNLESS you know how to properly edit travel photos. ![]()
